Introduction
This cookie policy explains how Tipster4You uses cookies and similar technologies to collect, store and process your information when you use our platform.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device (computer, tablet or mobile) when you visit a website. It allows remembering your preferences and improving your user experience.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for a limited number of reasons:
- Ensure the site works properly
- Keep your login session secure
- Measure the site's audience anonymously to understand how it is used and improve it
- Only with your consent: link your browsing to your account and analyse usability with Microsoft Clarity
Types of cookies we use
Essential cookies
Strictly necessary for the site to function and for your login. They cannot be disabled.
Login cookie (refreshToken), session security, your banner choice (t4y_consent), language, theme and odds format preferences
Anonymous audience measurement (exempt from consent)
A first-party cookie, set and read only by us, is used to produce traffic statistics: number of visits, traffic sources, pages viewed, aggregated paths. These statistics are never linked to your account, never viewed visit by visit and never shared with third parties, and your IP address is not stored. In line with CNIL guidance, this measurement does not require your consent, but you can object to it at any time on this page.
Cookie t4y_vid (13 months, never extended)
Account-linked measurement and Microsoft Clarity (subject to your consent)
Only if you click "Accept": if you are logged in, your browsing is linked to your account to improve your experience and our services, and Microsoft Clarity records heatmaps and browsing sessions (cookieless, typed text masked). Until you answer, or if you decline, none of this is active.
Linking the visit to your account, Microsoft Clarity
Third-party cookies
Only two providers are involved, in limited cases:
- Stripe: secure payment processing (cookies set only during a payment)
- Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings, loaded only after your consent, configured without cookies
Managing your cookie preferences
We use no advertising cookies. You stay in control of audience measurement:

Anonymous audience measurement
Active
Objecting stops all audience measurement, including any you accepted.
Your consent
Anonymous audience measurement and necessary cookies run without consent, under the exemptions provided by the CNIL. Linking your browsing to your account and Microsoft Clarity are only enabled with your prior consent: when you arrive, a banner offers to accept or decline, both choices being presented the same way. Until you answer, or if you decline, they stay disabled. You can change your choice at any time on this page.
Cookie retention period
The essential login cookie is kept while your session is active, then expires automatically. The audience measurement cookie (t4y_vid) expires after 13 months and is never extended: its lifetime runs from when it was first set, not from your last visit. It is renewed when you change your choice, so that an anonymous visit can never be linked to your account. Browsing data is deleted automatically after 25 months, and the link to your account is removed on request.
Your rights regarding cookies
You have complete rights over cookies:
- Object to anonymous audience measurement, on this page
- Decline account-linked measurement and Microsoft Clarity from the banner, with no impact on access to the site
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
- Delete the cookies stored on your device
- Block cookies through your browser settings
- Request deletion of browsing data linked to your account
Updates to this policy
We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory reasons. The updated version will be available on our site with the modification date.
